Why we do what we do

Laura's Love was founded on December 16, 2023, and was inspired by the late Laura Sutton of Hiram, Georgia. Laura was a loving and extremely hard working mother and friend to many. Laura spent a large portion of her life caring for others: first her son, then her mother, and later many others. Laura had a strong work ethic. This was evident by the fact that she often had more than one job. After Laura's mother left for heaven, Laura began buying, wrapping, and delivering Christmas gifts to nursing home residents in her community each year; she didn't want anyone to feel alone or forgotten. These gifts were purchased almost entirely out of her own pocket, and the gifts were wrapped and delivered to the unsuspecting recipients exclusively by Laura. It was this example of love and generosity that inspired us to start Laura's Love.

Tax status

Laura's Love has decided to not seek 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, so we will be free to serve others without the rules and restrictions that accompany such a status. No salaries are taken and all donations go towards helping others.
